This year, proceeds from the Zippy 5K will benefit the Jim Tracy Special Needs Trust. A longstanding and beloved member of the Bay Area running community, Jim is an accomplished and avid runner. Known as "Coach Jim" to hundreds of young adults to whom he dedicated countless hours sharing his passion and running expertise, he was recently diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and now faces one of the biggest challenges of his life.
